For pepper lovers: Black pepper, pink peppercorns (Schinus Molle), and a touch of lemon give these crispy roasted cashews their kick. This makes these finely roasted cashew nuts intensely peppery and fruity.

We use very fine black pepper, which we freshly grind for each roast, along with the pink peppercorns.

By the way, pink peppercorns are not true pepper at all, but belong to the sumac family. The berries are the fruit of the Peruvian pepper tree and are also called Christmas berries due to their color. They are very aromatic, not spicy but rather fruity-spicy. That's why pink peppercorns are also often used to season chocolate.

Our NuZz Organic Cashews Pink Peppercorn also go great with cheese or even over fish dishes. Daring foodies combine them with a chocolate mousse or lemon cream.

Our "Pink" is a little diva when roasting! We use freshly grated lemon zest and the juice of fresh lemons. This causes this variety to behave slightly differently during roasting, and if you're not careful, it can easily get too dark. This is where all the experience and special touch of the master roaster are required.
